Lume appears less than ideal looking for starters.

Three things with this:
1/ The automatic winding will not function correctly.
2/ The oscillating weight will not be running true so it will cause wear on the bushes in which it runs.
3/ The rubbing will wear away the metal of both the oscillating weight and the case back.
The only place the debris can go is into the movement so who knows what other damage this could cause?

Sorry, but the hands in the hour subs are allways shorter to the extend that the subdials are overlapping. Otherwise they could touch eachother and cause damage.
Best regards and thanks for the nice discussion !
Of course but I meant hand's width, not length.
Thin hands were supposed to be fitted on mk1 and thick hands on mk2/3. At least all 3 should be the same

apologies, that was my mistake, I failed 馃檨
Price has a lot to do with condition along with things such as: does it come with box and paper work, GF ladder bracelet, has it been recently serviced etc..
For what it's worth here is my opinion, assuming that the watch is in great condition, recently serviced and comes with GF ladder bracelet.
A3817 and A3818 are going to be in the range of $13-$15k. Mathew Bain recently sold 2 really nice A3817 examples and their list price was in this range.
A386 as far as I'm aware are going for $15-$18k
A384 and A385 are some place around $6k
Again this is just my opinion based on what I've seen lately. Others may want to weigh in.
