Yikes.. 'Universal Geneva'
Who wrote this?

Watchmaking, is not just a history of watches, but also of singular lives, of men and women who devote body and soul to give life to their projects. The story of Universal Geneva rich in men and events indivisible from their timepieces.

No good. Using a classic name with major pedigree. Bringing UG back for real would cost major dough up front.

They should have spent a little more on the copywriting at very least...

Amazing how little attention was brought to this topic.

And proofreading. I'm not really qualified to critique anyone's watchmaking, but sloppy language gets me right in the blood pressure. There's a lot of it, but check e.g. "The Rich History...": this page includes accidental gems like "Another bold next release ...On the occasion of Baseworld [sic] 2008". So I doubt these guys have ever been near, er, Switzerland.

Thank goodness they have not released a modern "Polerouter" line, or worse, an homage "Polarouter"!

...however, the movements photographed at the bottom of the home page still look beautiful.
