Feedback on my website

I am making a website for my collection (and share some from others' whose I've photographed).
This is from my limited free time. So, don't be too hard with the comments.
I do website coding, texts, photos, and videos.

https://1010.watch/

I mostly share some of the pics I have taken in a larger format (than on IG), and I decided to take one step further from just a photo gallery to deeper content. So, I gathered some info about the watches too.
Some texts are from Fratello or others and I am always linking to these resources. Writing in English about watches isn't my strongest secret power.

I was also thinking about adding a "strap recommendation" section under every watch page.
Just because I love good straps.

What do you think, should I go deeper in some technical aspects or show more pics?
I am also planning to do a couple of "Hodinke Talk" type of videos with some locals (just a few collectors).
All ideas are welcome!

Oh, at the moment I have 7 watches added to the site, so some links don't work yet.

One feature I was thinking about - on the small thumbs list when you hover mouse the photo could change to movement shot.

EDIT: I did it on homeview

The website looks great! I love the domain as well. You’ve clearly put a lot of work into it. I’ve only checked it out on mobile and overall it’s very responsive but I did manage to break the layout a bit because I run my browser in 150% zoom.

Lovely design! Did you build that cool scroll animation yourself?
Makes me feel a little insecure about my website.

I dig it. Nice work.

If you incorporate relevant videos from YouTube, to each of the watch article, you’ll 3-5x time spent on your site, hopefully you can generate some ad revenue and continue developing the site.

It took me 5 minutes to read your article, I spent the next 25 minutes looking up and watching videos of watches I’ve just read. Keep me on your site and display a dozen relevant video there.

Well, browser zoom is a bitch. I can’t do anything about it. Maybe I can try word to break, but that isn’t ideal. I will test some.

And thanks everyone!

That homeview (don’t want to say homepage) has Swiper.js parallax slider. It’s free to use from their website.

Well, in most pages I have included a video. Just at the end of the content. These are short videos of the watch. I am planning to make them longer and more interesting 😀

If you meant that I should include videos from other people of the same watch… there are none.
Some watches I have are so rare that nobody has done a video of these. But, I can indeed include a video of the similar model. For example I have rare blue De Ville and Omega_enthusiast has video of silver version.

Added straps section. When I recommend these straps - it's from a personal experience, not just a random selection.

Also, make your links pop in new windows/tabs rather than the current one. That's maybe for my personal enjoyment, but I think most people appreciate that method without knowing it.

I was thinking about that. Years ago that wasn’t considered as good practice, because you couldn’t go back from “back” button, but now in mobile you can.
