Original post questioning the legitimacy of the dial: https://omegaforums.net/threads/this-should-be-easy-for-the-experts-is-this-a-redial.144451/

here are updated pictures upon receipt of the watch today. It was mentioned in the previous post that the seconds hand may be too short, and that the omega font may not be centered. I am still interested in any and all opinions.

I have said it before and I will say it again, I am new at this and I do appreciate everyone’s insight.

Nice watch! Looks pretty good to me. That first picture shows dial well and everything looks aligned correctly. It’s pretty hard to redial a waffle dial…if it is one it was done well.

Looking over it with these better pictures, it still looks good. The minute markers are evenly spaced, and uniform in application (with some slight damage on a few of them, the marker at 6 is a good example of this), the crosshairs for the seconds are smooth and uniform, the script in Omega is again uniform, and the applied markers all look straight. Waffle dials are pretty stinking hard to redial, so the overall uniformity in the thickness of the lines of this one is what makes me confident that it is original.

By the way, I love those applied coffin markers at the five minute marks.

Thanks all for the confirmation. I bought a sweet lizard strap and will try to source a genuine buckle to complete the package. This is a forever piece for the collection.
