Such an insane talent - the world absolutely misses him. The art is nicer than the watches, but he clearly liked nice things and the Mrs Doubtfire residuals were still coming to the mailbox.

Looking through all of his stuff, and it doesn’t look like any of his family is keeping mementos, I was both deeply saddened and fascinated. It’s worth a perusal.

To me, the watches are mostly a disappointment, nearly all ‘modern’ stuff. But some of the visual art he collected is spectacular. And only two not very special expensive fountain pens.

+1 .... I found it sad that things like the golden globe for Good Morning Vietnam are among the lots.

Agreed, there are some nice watches and some not so nice, but there is also some great art, from fairly contemporary artists too which is interesting. Good to see some of the proceeds going to charities as well.

They might have kept some things back and not told us. Or they might find any reminder of what happened just too painful.

I wish we still had Robin Williams.

What I like is that some of the watches include the warantee card made out to his name.
