Hi all! I came across this 2996 recently that was for sale. The seller was not as helpful as I would have liked to make up my mind bout it and it appears it now sold after staying a long time FS (the asked price was probably a big part of the reason) The dial strikes me because it looks like a PAF ranchero/seamaster dial but the Omega logo is a totally different style. And the watch it’s mounted on has a 16M movement while PAF seacheros are in the 17M range. on some pictures it also looks glossy (never managed to get better pictures to make up my mind about it…) Have you ever seen such a dial? Is it original? If so, when is it from and what was its purpose!
