·Hey everyone,
I wanted to share something quite special with you. I’m a big fan of vintage Nivada watches, and I recently came across a model that seems to be incredibly rare. I discovered it by pure chance while buying stock from a watchmaker who was closing his shop. After searching online, I found almost no trace of this watch—except for one person who sold one a while ago and also mentioned its rarity.
The model in question is the Nivada Safari. I was lucky enough to get my hands on three men’s models and two women’s models, all in NOS condition.
Has anyone here ever heard of this watch? Do you know any forums or communities where I could find Nivada enthusiasts who might have more information?
In any case, these watches are absolutely stunning. They have a bit of a bling effect, which (if you use a bit of imagination, lol) reminds me of the gold Piaget Polo watches that are making a comeback.
I’d love to hear your thoughts—both on this model and on Nivada in general!
