·Up for sale is a stunning vintage Geneve 166.0098, in as new condition, as the pics show this has probably never been worn, and I cannot find a scratch on it, not even on the bracelet
It is likely to hold a Cal 1481 movement but for reasons that become obvious when you look at the pics, I don’t want to open it up to take a look. It runs fine and the quickset date works but I have not run it for any length of time and it is likely to need a service.
The bracelet is original to the watch and it fits my 18cm wrist OK, and there is one hole left on the clasp so it will go a little bit bigger. There is some tarnishing on the clasp of the bracelet but I am sure it will clean up fine.
In case you are wondering, the purple is a protective film from when it was first manufactured and it will clean off with a little rubbing alcohol and a cotton bud.
Asking price US$895 by bank wire (TransferWise is awesome) or US$975 by paypal and I will cover shipping from Hong Kong by EMS speedpost and paypal fees. And if you are nice and want it, I will throw in the red Omega travel pouch.
I have been around a while and have bought and sold here before so there are solid references for me on that forum. And for anyone interested I have a C case Connie in similar condition that will be up for sale soon.
