Hi all,

At the moment this is the only photo I have, I'm asking the person who wants to sell it more photos to understand better what we have. But at first glance, how much could be the value for this Omega?
Thanks in advance.

Ref 2471 from the late 40's, from that one picture I'd punt on that being an original dial

Italiany restaurato? 😁
Bought in Switzerland - as told by the seller (that I know by person) - in late 50s or early 60s. What do you mean?
As far as we know (it was the watch of my wife's boss, now dead) it was never restored/redialed since then. When he was alive, my wife was in charge to wind it for him, every morning, so I'm quite sure about the life of this piece.

Here is a similar watch in a 1955 US catalog:

Be careful when setting the date. IMHO not between 10 pm and ???
Maybe someone knows this better here at OF

To be safe I always set these up with the time set to between 2pm and 6pm....something to do with the meshing of all those little wheels and things...somebody technical will be along in a minute.
