·the micromotor looks unharmed, many are in a much poorer state having lost their brass plating, the same cross hairs feature on my non date 215. I think thats a nice watch

Thoughts on this one? Only thing I see wrong is some damage on the rear of the pushers?

Hello all, new to the forums and UG. Completely new to this vintage watch thing but recently got into it... what a poisonous thing this is 😜
since i'm totally new to this, these forums have been a great help in boosting my knowledge. so far ive gotten tips on spotting redials (flat "A" for the fonts, angular top part of the digit "3") i've since resolved to not buy anything at least until i've gotten better with spotting re-dials
thought i'd begin my first post with the ebay inquiries thread. Noticed this:

Thought i'd expand my knowledge by seeking expert opinion. I've never seen a uni compax in 37mm before... neither have i ever seen a 12 oclock marker with the two vertical markings ||. Can anyone shed light on the authenticity of this watch?
37mm uni compaxes do exist, usually holds a 287 inside. The watch in the eBay link is a redial, so best avoid (no concentric circles in the subdials, no Swiss under 6 etc.). You might also be interested in looking for a zenith with cal 156 (edited) inside 😉
Ha, thanks editing now
What do think of that one? dial looks fine, case maybe a bit too polished.
Any advise welcome.
Cheers.
