I'm intrigued by this one - particularly the mention of a Valjoux 69 movement. The case reference is listed in the ladies section of Sala so it's rather small, I take it. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/272132345286?_trksid=p2055119.m1438.l2649&ssPageName=STRK:MEBIDX:ITPurchases made through these links may earn this site a commission from the eBay Partner Network
And, while I'm on and if anybody is looking for a deployant, this looks like exceptional value. http://www.ebay.it/itm/Deployante-U...358781?hash=item4af9319f7d:g:6e8AAOSwFNZWwKihPurchases made through these links may earn this site a commission from the eBay Partner Network
I wanted to point this one out for your interest, as it is an example of an early cal. 215 in which you can see under the rotor that UG's Microtor patent is still pending. The "patent pending" engraving is absent in later 215's. http://www.ebay.com/itm/VINTAGE-UNI...517426?hash=item5b20650d72:g:DagAAOSwll1WwKD5Purchases made through these links may earn this site a commission from the eBay Partner Network While the lugs are a bit smooth, the dial itself is a nice and clean execution.
Not familiar with UG, can I please ask the experts if this is worth a punt? http://www.ebay.com/itm/322009581282?_trksid=p2060353.m570.l6026&_trkparms=gh1g=I322009581282.N34.S1Purchases made through these links may earn this site a commission from the eBay Partner Network
Not eBay, but crazy! Red sweater with blue checkered shirt? Psh. http://www.chronocentric.com/forums/chronotrader/index.cgi?page=1;md=read;id=48077 Listen for the pop... wait for it...
I would say it is a little messy. when a watchmaker forgets to put back the movement retaining screws and tabs then it is a sign that he may well not have been up to the job unforgivable mr watchmaker!
That's truly a nice forum, with members having full knowlege and passion, that I share, but why do I notice that the very nice and rare pieces that are on ebay are not pointed out ?...

I have looked closely at that watch and it has all sorts of problems. 1) The hand on the 6 o'clock register is the thin type from the older style watch and doesn't match the other registers. 2) The second hand should be bright red, not orange. 3) The second hand is too long. 4) The bridge has been recently replaced and is not the correct piece for this movement. It's a shame, as I got very excited when I first saw it. I hope someone isn't silly enough to pay the asking price for it!
While I don't know the first thing about these kinds of watches, I am aware that some of you are interested in them. Sharing this listing I just saw with you in case helpful. http://shop.analogshift.com/collect.../products/universal-geneve-compax-blue-exotic
Ha! Now this model is a "Nina" too? Well then I hereby declare my watch an "Evil Clapton Triple-Date Moon-Phase Nina." Let the bidding begin at $30,000.
