11305 is gold case, this one is 41301 (gold plated). The dials of UG are interchangeable as in there are no set rules as to what dial goes with which reference (but there should be no stark contrast i.e. a goldish dial like this should ne paired with gold or gold plate).

I think the dial and the watch Seems genuine it is just that the description of the seller is off (case is gold plated not gold which makes it less desirable than gold or steel).

There is another gold triple date but the case looks polished and one subdial hand looks like it might be wrong .

My second UG purchase was a franken tripled date 馃槣....

Thanks for the comments ELV web! It seems quite difficult to find information about UG on the web. Do you have any recommended sites?

More like a recommended book. Try googling universal Geneve by Sala. The book will cost you 150euros but owning it can be much more detrimental to your financial health (as was mentioned to me before by fellow members before me 馃榿 )

I wouldn't consider this a NOS watch, but looks almost in mint condition. Not 100% sure about the dial eventhough it looks fine to me but it's a fair price if the dial is original.

It is chrome metal (not steel), I think the subdial (hour), the fonts are unevenly rendered (the picture is not clear enough) so I have reservation about it being original dial.

Chrome cases are less desirable than steel i assume (less resistant over years?) ... Difficult to say if the price is fair if the dial can't be authenticated as original...

The dial looks great, my concern is

1) what is the reference number, could it have been gold plated given the hour marker is gold
2) the hands look genuine but is it the right combination for dial with gold hour marker

There are many true experts around who should be able to give better opinions. Good luck!

Hello,
When I saw this NOS UG Polerouter Asymetrical Sub case last week coming in auction I thought it won't last a day. UG_polerouter_Sub_Case.JPG
It is still here now.
I was wondering why these UG parts didn't find a buyer. Same things for these Polerouter NOS glass (I bought two of them).

$85 for a crystal is very steep, unless for a rare reference.

But on the other hand, this might be your only chance.
