Now that you mention it, yes those hands do look "treated". No mention of that in the original posting.
Also, if this is indeed service dial, then that's one hell of a knockout asking price. It seems, unlike vintage Rolex, service dials, from what I have observed anecdotally, don't affect the price of a Tri-compax as severely, probably owing to their rarity and the fact that non-service conditions on these are usually rather hammered.

Not sure if this is a good deal ? But posting here in case it is !
I had some time to kill so went snooping around the Goldammer site and lo and behold - 2 years ago (June 2023 to be precise) they sold another 22250, also in "NOS condition" with a similar, near identical "protective paint" at the back.
Initially, I thought it was the exact same watch just resold now with a more age appropriate moon face dial indicator, but the serial no is just slightly different (1154852 in June 2023 vs 1154816), which is uncanny.
The dial has the same hallmarks of a later 60's service dial (I did my homework and read the other thread of Tri-compax dials, again last evening...) and also came with a box. I give them full marks for transparency because they keep the prices of the watches they sell on their site intact and 2 years ago the watch they sold was listed for USD 13,835.

Quite the pair, hope they stay as a pair! 😀

Interesting one (but already sold): https://www.ebay.fr/itm/226799912966
Did anyone here get it? I’d be very interested if someone wanted to flip it and make a quick profit.
