I was considering it as well, but given the condition of the case and significant work I decided to stop bidding a bit earlier.

It will be a massive project. Basically you need a donor movement, pusher and a relume. And shipping and importing it would cost me another 600 euro or so

Another extremely interesting reference was sold yesterday in France. Auction was not broadcasted live, little info in the catalogue, I bid but the day after all info on the auction is gone and the results are nowhere to be found (which is normal with this site, all very French....).

Anyway: Jaeger ref 22479. Ref 22477 is quite common but I have yet to find a ref 22478, 22480, 22482, 22483, 22488, 22489 or 22490. This is the first 22479. TT case. Movement looks very fresh. Judging by the marks in the cb 2 services. Dial is nice but has annoying scratch.

The Jaeger above sold for EUR 3.700 excl 30% fee. Baffling amount IMHO. TT, scratch, really small niche of collectors interested in these watches, only to be found on 1 site: I'd expected half at max.

I was bidding on this one as well and was also quite surprised by the strong result.
Fyi, the auction was also indexed and broadcasted on Drouot, which might be the reason it didn't go completely unnoticed.

Well I could not find it in Drouot. Which is slightly better but still quite annoying because to see realised prices you need a subscription
