Still, decently preserved dial, Jeanerette case and the provenance is most interesting. Proof of some level of bespoke as we all surmise.

If this one has already been posted, I apologize. I am sure you have all seen this and passed it over on eBay because it is–for lack of a better word–just plain weird. It doesn't immediately jump out as a redial, but the dial finish is indeed very odd. The case seems wrong as well, specifically the lugs, but again I am not a student of UG. What is wrong with this thing?

I have seen somewhat similar dials (emphasize: somewhat) in both IWC and UG before (one from Private Eyes shown below), but I have never seen one quite like this. Sort of a shame because if the condition/originality was better, this watch could be quite cool.

Can't immediately fault it as a redial but I agree it feels off

This early one - 30.x mm diameter - was sold today at a local auction for EUR 550 excl 28%
