If anyone out there in OF land snagged the Exotic Nina 885108 (blue dial) that just was listed for sale at the end of last week - and sold almost immediately - on Watchpool24, please private message me. I’d love to ask you something about it. Thanks in advance - and congrats!!

Adding a link and screen shot if helpful to jog someone’s “memory” from a few days ago…. 😉

Absolutely. I'm a bit on the fence about the dial but lean towards right (perhaps a later service dial)

Nothing about the dial looks original to me

Why would you say so?
The subdial configuration with upright numerals is uncommon, but not unknown… though here it’s combined with rounded 3’s too…
But I don’t know… the dial is definitely strange.

The silver dial is legit imho. Not sure about the black dial- definitely gives pause but I don't dismiss it outright... Here are some other 30 dials- ug was pretty crazy man - the more I see the more tolerance I have for what would've been outliers or written off a few years ago..
(that salmon dial was sold by our very own modest_proposal) I wish I had snagged it then 🤔

The black one from the OP (22442) is definitely OK, just the central chrono sweep is painted white. I have seen that one in flesh, it’s fine.

But the other one (OP eBay sale) just combines too many unique features - numbers upright on all subdials with rounded 3s and closed 6s and 9s all at the same time; Compax label wrapped around the subdial… all this can exist, I think, but I haven’t seen it all together on one dial yet. Still I wouldn’t say straight away that it is a redial…

Because of the subdial configurations plus the use of round 3 plus the double scale

there are examples of some of those elements on original dials but I don't believe I've ever seen them all together on one dial before like this

Not having been seen before is not proof it's not original, just going with probability, I could be wrong.

Indeed, having been staring at Compur dials for almost 8 years, knowing that there is much that is undocumented about Compur. I find it hard to dismiss this dial as non original.

Some light detail cleanup could really bring it back to life !
