Hey guys. New to the Universal Geneve chronograph game. I recently came across this unicompax in a website and was hoping to get the hivemind's opinion. The hour hand looks off to me but was hoping your opinion before I pull the trigger. Is this a watch worth pursuing or should I be waiting for a better example

 

I tried to find this on Flea Bay without success. Hands can be sorted as this is a smaller case. Dial is correct but fair at best. I'd want a movement shot and inside caseback shot. I'd wait for a better example.

I agree with them on the price I have the same Reference in really good condition. I found mine on Chrono24 for $1700 US if you look around more I’m sure you’ll find a better price.

 

I gotta ask You guys think this watch is a redial? I got it for €627 Not a terrible price if it is a redial I think.

Dial looks good.
Minute hand is too long.
Worth 5k€? What's the diameter? Apart from that I would not pay that much.

 

Conditions are excellent and dial is good.
For sure it deserves a premium.

 

It’s a very clean watch. SB 37mm at that price point. Not bothered by minute hand.

 

I'm assuming it's serviced? Overall condition seems very nice but €5k is on the steep side in my view.

It is serviced. From my memory size is 36mm. So a bit expensive. OK.

Given you guys are experienced, I will ask you a very subjective question:
Would you rather buy the Compax for 5k or the Zenith for 4k ? (Both serviced)
