Lmao wtf indeed. This is vintage madness
Heh - I just saw this on eBay and was about to ask if this was a fake or some early rare model made before UG decided to have a proper go at making dive watches. Guess @bgrisso answered that quite succinctly...

Hi everybody, I had a UG verification question that somebody here might be able to answer and is tangential to a UG on ebay. Did the UG triple calendar moonphases ever feature a red hand on the right-side date-of-the-month subdial? In all the pictures from my Sala copy that are big and in color enough for me to make out, the right-subdial hand is black, and the middle month subdial hand is red. By contrast all the UG triple calendars without moonphases appear to have right-date-dial red hands. I have seen a few other triple calendar moonphases around the internet with red right subdial hands, but I'm not sure if any are original. Thank you!

the red hand gets moved around by people. I believe the correct configuration is blue hand on the left, red hand in the middle, blue hand on the right, because that's how they appear in the original instruction manual. You will see many examples with the red hand on the right, but assuming that the sub dial hands are all original, it is easy to swap the middle and right hand hands back to the "correct" position.

if it's just a triple cal (no moonphase), then you have blue on the left and red on the right.

At least the hands don't point at any of the two twos in the dark.

It's a Hobbit watch: Instead of second breakfast, it tells you second 2 o'clock.

Not on eBay, but did anyone here pick up lot 4107 from Cortrie Special-Auctions over the weekend? The hour-hand notwithstanding, I thought there was a lot to like about this 22541: Sharp case, correct numbers, attractive patina ...

Ultimately though, with all the fees, I thought the price was getting a little steep for me. Appears to have sold for the opening bid without any other bidders, so congrats if you got it.

It's crazy how bad some of these redials are. Ray Charles could spot the flaws!

Good morning ladies & gents. How goes it for everyone in isolation? I predict a glut of new corono-babies in 9 months. Anyway, I'm new to considering a UG Chrono to the collection. I saw this on italian eBay.it today and I wanted an opinion. The seller says it's a Medico but the dial says nothing and well, strikes me as redial although he doesn't say so. The price is good at 1200 EUR but I'm wondering if II should just hold back?

The absence of a model name above the 6 is a red flag. No Swiss at the bottom and the subdials (esp at 3) look awful.

Apart from that, it's lovely. Run away.
