The crosshair looks fine to me. The crown is a replacement. The dial seems damaged by water and i wonder how the movement looks... Anyway, if it sells at that price then i'm richer than i thought:
Any thoughts on the originality of this dial? https://www.ebay.com/itm/Universal-....m570.l1312.R1.TR10.TRC3.A0.H0.Xuni.TRS2.TSS0Purchases made through these links may earn this site a commission from the eBay Partner Network
Hey Guys, any opinion on this Uni compax on Chrono24? The dial looks amazing for its age. But I wasn’t aware that UG made waterproof cases back in 1943-1945. Is the cal supposed to be 285 instead of 281? https://www.chrono24.com/sg/univers...-281--id8586913.htm?SETLANG=en_SG&SETCURR=SGD
This is a fun piece: https://www.ebay.com/itm/Vintage-19...507133?hash=item3638857ffd:g:PfIAAOSwnTpbCvT7Purchases made through these links may earn this site a commission from the eBay Partner Network I had a quite similar piece once: https://omegaforums.net/threads/tell-with-as-1130-movement-and-great-art-deco-dial.72376/
Film Compax went up - but the dial looks screwed up including a disappeared 16mm scale. https://www.ebay.com/itm/Vintage-Un...t=14324&_nkw=universal+geneve&_from=R40&rt=ncPurchases made through these links may earn this site a commission from the eBay Partner Network An awesome thread by our very own OF sleuths on this model if you want to learn more: https://omegaforums.net/threads/film-compax-a-mystery-solved.3587/

Did any of you lucky souls manage to scoop up the UG Compax on the Dink? The big one, ref 22704, not totally perfect but beautiful all the same.... https://shop.hodinkee.com/products/...mpax-reference-22704-1?variant=12235549802571
I was just looking at that site as well, the other UG got snapped up pretty quickly. Interesting piece though with the protruding calendar pushers and Tricompax without the hyphen https://shop.hodinkee.com/collections/vintage-watches/products/1940s-universal-geneve-tri-compax-reference-22536
The early Tri Cases had protruding pushers...The "Tricompax" is correct but not often seen. Moon face is a plus...Dial is a bit too roached out for my taste but overall a good watch at a fair price...IMO.
"roached out" - never heard that expression before, but I agree with your assessment, and it's just become my new favorite phrase!
