The crosshair looks fine to me. The crown is a replacement. The dial seems damaged by water and i wonder how the movement looks...

Anyway, if it sells at that price then i'm richer than i thought:

 

TH isn't known to be the best dealer/seller around.

 

Stay away from T&H! Well known to jack up prices on sub-par watches

 

But they take lovely photo’s and their website looks great!

 

Any thoughts on the originality of this dial?

Hey Guys, any opinion on this Uni compax on Chrono24?

The dial looks amazing for its age.
But I wasn’t aware that UG made waterproof cases back in 1943-1945.
Is the cal supposed to be 285 instead of 281?

The early Tri Cases had protruding pushers...The "Tricompax" is correct but not often seen. Moon face is a plus...Dial is a bit too roached out for my taste but overall a good watch at a fair price...IMO.

 

"roached out" - never heard that expression before, but I agree with your assessment, and it's just become my new favorite phrase!

 

Cant claim credit for that one.... "American Pickers" on History Channel. I like the term too.
