Who grabbed the 35mm SS Compax on the Dink? Anyone?

Didn't go that quickly. Saw it come up for sale but passed on that dial.

no, I heard the minute markers ran off with the "geneve". the L from universal is just totally MIA....
I am new here - and learning - but the minute markers look like every other Evil Clapton out there...no? Same with Universal Geneve. It's just the way the watch is set. I don't see the l or Geneve as MIA, just covered by the hands.

Am I understanding this right?

We are talking about different watch, not the Clapton.....

I'm seeing an awful lot of these Unisonic Subs pop up on the bay. i'm thinking of snagging one, but i wanted to ask if anyone here has any experience with servicing the movement, either as a customer or a watchmaker.

I have one and I can confirm that Paul from Electrical Watches completed the service on it 😀. He was unable to source a correct crown gasket, however, so don't think you'll be taking it anywhere near water. I'd like a white and a blue bezel one but not for the money some of those sellers are asking.

Ive been talking to the seller on this one. A few things bug me. The dial is english, the day is Portuguese. Aside from patina, there is damage to the dial above JUL, the crown is wrong. Hard to tell what the dial really looks like? Maybe a bit of a gamble, could be better IRL, or not so good. I dunno?

Good call on the dial damage, did not spot that. Here is an identical dial on another UG reference with English day and month:
