This watch which has been on ebay for eternity always seems to spark my interest. Has it been discussed here?

Despite the price what is keeping people away. I can't see 'SWISS' on the dial but it all looks ok?

I think because the seller photos has managed to make the watch look really ugly. Maybe a bit better in the metal? Looks correct to me, yet another example with the red hand on the date dial. I wouldn't pay even half the asking myself.

Yes, I bought this one. Apologies for the slightly underhand eBay antics.

I'd been on the look out for one for a while. I'd seen a few additional pictures that were not on eBay (although still not the hi-res pictures one would want) and the seller also agreed to accept PayPal so it seemed a less risky transaction.

I've probably now cursed the transaction but if it does turn up, I'll share some pictures.
