Black dialed "Nina" Chronograph. Just popped up. Dial is a bit dirty, but nothing damning. http://www.ebay.com/itm/THE-BEST-CO...twatches&hash=item258a185935&autorefresh=truePurchases made through these links may earn this site a commission from the eBay Partner Network
New entry in the annals of EBay idiocy: "The watch is in untouched factory condition. Shows signs of wear." http://www.ebay.com/itm/Universal-G...426275931?pt=Wristwatches&hash=item3cde38665bPurchases made through these links may earn this site a commission from the eBay Partner Network
On a level with this one: International items may be subject to customs processing and additional charges. Item location Gran Buenos Aires, Argentina Ships to: Worldwide
Smart folks... don't want their mean neighbor to inadvertently buy it and come over to beat the crap of out 'em when they realize they've been had.
Very nice looking Polerouter Date: http://www.ebay.com/itm/VINTAGE-UNI...E-/390799414379?&_trksid=p2056016.m2518.l4276Purchases made through these links may earn this site a commission from the eBay Partner Network The gold capping on these is actually a bit thicker than on the Constellations from the same period. This example is free from the maladies that generally plague Polerouters, such as circular scrapes inside the caseback (bad rotor berings). Has original "U" crown and the caseback engraving is all there. Good luck, gatorcpa
Saw this one on Ebay today. Its a tricompax without the wording on the dial. Is it a redial? (Forgive me if its a dumb question as i am new to UG) http://www.ebay.com.sg/itm/Rare-Uni...x-Vintage-Moonphase-Chronograph-/251479280843Purchases made through these links may earn this site a commission from the eBay Partner Network
I saw this one "sell" last month for $3,238. http://www.ebay.ca/itm/251436929453?clk_rvr_id=605146112114Purchases made through these links may earn this site a commission from the eBay Partner Network
You are right haga888. And he seems to have got a negative feedback for the same: "The Seller misrepresented a watch and he did not disclose he is in Paris, FR"
well, that's honest enough. If you had any hesitation before, you'll find your misgivings confirmed by reading the feedback.
New to the forum and UG's in general. What's wrong with this Tri? Does the redial affect the value that much?
Good to know. I was thinking about bidding on it but I'll wait for something better to come along. Thanks!
Looking to pick up a vintage Tri-Compax for my collection. I like the 40's models with thin hands and Arabic (2, 4, 8, 10) numerals. I see one listed on eBay that is exactly the kind I am looking for. Auction expires later today. Appears to be in good condition (although photos are blurry). However it has a stainless back on a purportedly 18kt gold case. I can't imagine that would be correct. Thoughts? http://www.ebay.com/itm/Rare-Universal-Geneve-Tri-Compax-Yellow-Gold-circa-1945-/221397958727?pt=Wristwatches&hash=item338c58c047
Bid as if it was gold plated. I've not heard of an 18K case Universal chronograph with a steel back, but stranger things have happened. gatorcpa
