Some gentle advice.... @a_ayman - Slow down. Spend a bit of time here, contribute and leverage the resources here. It feels like you are chasing UG butterflies right now and that will cost the noob tax..(eg watches that are worth zip resale). What is out on the Bay is mostly garbage. Watch the sales forums here as well.

Thank you, @Larry S! I will stay around here, I've been following this thread but not regularly and I intend to stay around longer and study UGs more before I make any purchases. Thank you for the advice, it is much appreciated

Well you've started on the proper foot by joining OF! Lots of great content (including some great dial debates) can be accessed here by using the query. Also check out @ConElPueblo "Teach A Man To Fish" ...Its Omega focused but full of great tips. If you really are jumping in then purchasing the Sala guide and learning how to interpret it is essential.

Thanks @Larry S for introducing me to this great resource. I'll be staying around and hopefully get to know more about vintage UGs!

Pleasure making your acquaintance

Last year some ug folder (less common) went up to around 650 euro if I remember correctly...😵‍💫

This time it crashed back down to less than $20 with a high bidder retracting.

Can someone explain that ? 😕 bidders can't retract just before the end of the sale, as far as I know...

If it is all honest then it means the winner had an "over the top" bid in and the next bidder did the same thing but retracted it when he/she saw where it went. That bidder retracted a $500 bid.

Plus
Shipping:
$60.00 FedEx International Priority
Now that is a ripoff.

Apparently these microtor pocket watches existed. I didn't found another with cal 218.2 but i found two with cal. 215.

Ok, but what about the back cover, no inscription shown ?..
Is it a plexy replacement ? Never seen UG's with a plexy back cover 😕 without serial and ref.
