The movement also may be funky-the dealer says that the chrono doesnt reset, and watch keeps poor time.

Could be easily fixable, depends on condition. But Matthew Bain doesnt strike me as someone who would let a easily fixable rare watch out of his grasp-especially at the prices he charges!

I have the same case in a Unisonic (it was one of the few Ebay purchase that significantly exceeded expectations) and the case edges should look like this.

It is a very bad redial on what looks like a corroded, potentially fake case.
