A vintage Universal Geneve Triple Date Moonphase. Watch is from the 1940's.
Watch is in full working condition and keeps accurate time. All functions work correctly. The moon in the moonphase sub-dial still has a nice color.
The dial is original and has not been redone. It displays a beautiful patina. It is rare to find a dial that hasn't been redone in these UG triple date calendar moonphases.
The hands are blue and when kept in the light, they look beautiful. The movement is an in-house 291 caliber - 17 jewels. About 33 mm in diameter, excluding the crown.
Back of the watch has the following reference numbers: 1005974 / 21308.
The watch comes with a brand new Alligator Strap from the German quality brand Kaufmann (value EUR 125).
