Thanks. You have two of the round 35mm? Any thoughts on the example in the link? I have requested for better pictures

Has anyone seen a 35mm round case variation? A seller is offering one here and the price seems too good to be true.

I don't agree that the price seems too good to be true; these are not in any way rare and neither is the finishing particularly high end.

I think he means that because the round case ones are rarer than the cushion case ones, and it's difficult to find one for less than $500 these days, that this one seems like more of a bargain.

Indeed. Do we have any consensus whether it is or isn't a franken - I'm not convinced quite yet and case back with a different case reference would be the start of that discussion.

Utterly no idea on the quality of the actual watch, TBH. I only glanced at the (very bad) photos accompanying the listing. It's not something I was going to jump at.

Thanks all and thank you @bgrisso for passing on this piece to me! It's a stunner!

Just picked up one these, I love it ! Thanks @Rman for the consult. I prefer the earlier faceted cases, even though they are smaller, wears quite large. I wouldnt normally wear 34mm but this one feels very good. Case is a little beat up, but sharp, dial is clean, runs great. Very nice watch and very reasonable. I don't know what the FS numbers on the back mean, but I like that mine is an earlier/lower number than most others I see.

I've got another interesting variant to share here - mine is a high serial number (115,xxx) C-case example with a slightly different dial, which is silver, and I don't think it's enameled. The numerals look very similar, but instead of being pressed from the back they appear to be applied. The seconds subdial is a little larger than the normal ones too, and features concentric circles. Additionally, the bottom of the dial is simply marked "Swiss" instead of "Swiss Made." It's a joy to wear, picture below. They aren't very good but I was really trying to highlight the differences in the subdial and the applied numerals.

I just found this one, where the minute hand is not original. What do you think of the patina? It costs around 250 euro. Is that a good price?

These are not rare watches - I'd wait for a good one with all original parts (including a signed crown) and I believe that, with a bit of patience, you'll manage that for €250.
