Me neither
Well, Florent messaged me right away. I’ll report back as soon as I hear more details on this. Great to know UG is closely monitoring this forum.

By directly asking the head of the heritage department, I could get specific details about the watch servicing process at UG. 👍

Thank you for offering to help. My late 1940s Tri-Compax is with Rik Dietel of TimeCare Inc, who has done an excellent job servicing a 1965 Rolex 5513 and a newer mid size Yatchmaster. He’s a great watchmaker but getting parts for the Tri-Compax has been a challenge. I believe he finally got everything we need. If we get stuck again I’ll be sure to reach out. Regardless it’s great news if UG will have a vibrant heritage department the with the Breitling deal.

Hi all, I wnated to check if anyone has received replies from UG ([email protected]) on requests for extract from archives? I sent them a request for my newly auqired Tri-Compax almost a week ago and never received any asknoweldgement of confirmation on whether they still offer those or not...

The Universal Heritage team is indeed actively working on relaunching the brand, and there's a lot happening behind the scenes. It seems like they've temporarily paused processing archive requests, so don’t worry if you haven't received a response yet. Heritage remains a core focus for the brand, and you should be hearing more from them soon.

Knowing you and a few others from OF are on the team is very reassuring.

After Sales Service replied a few weeks after my initial contact and referred me to their website re after sales service policies. They requested I send my watch to Switzerland for an estimate. I’m hesitant to do so with a family heirloom until more is known about what we may expect from UG regarding these 70+ year old watches.

Just wait a little before sending your watch 😉

You will receive our response within two – three weeks.

My two cents. As a long-time collector with high standards for watch restoration, I previously had my watches serviced by a "Meilleur Ouvrier de France" watchmaker. Still, I’d feel totally confident getting my watch serviced/restored by UG. They really respect collectors and have some of the most knowledgeable experts around the world backing them up !
