Hi All, In an effort to cheer myself up and pending the return of my 1964 Ed White from Simon I though I would treat myself to a bracelet. The original one fell apart on me in the 1990's and is long gone. I was thinking of buying a
US1035 Flat Link Bracelet for Omega Speedmaster 19mm Uncle Seiko for it. Does anyone have any experience of fitting one of these to the 105.003? Thank you in advance!!

The Uncle seiko is a nice bracelet but also worth considering the forstner version which has solid end links. Not sure if it will fit an EW though. I have both bracelets.

@Forstnerbands may be able to help in that respect

I think you will be much more cheerful if you find an original flat-link.

Yep. It fits fine, though a bit of end link manipulation may be required as every vintage watch is slightly different:

Indeed I would. I am still hoping that I find my original one which I have somewhere and no doubt will find when I am not looking for it. I remember putting the pieces in a bag and in a safe place....

Yes it works fine. You just end up having to bend the end links a bit to sit flat.

Congrats on getting it back. Simon does great work.

Enjoy!

Thank you for your response. Nice watches BRW!I think for now and for the money I will nip over there right now and buy one! My original one may turn up one day and it would of course be nice to have it restored and have the original pushers fitted to my watch...

That's looks spot on. Tried to order one and doesn't ship to where I stay, bollocks.

Did you try the email on the uk site (see photo)? Or maybe drop a PM to @Uncle Seiko

If you look at this thread
https://omegaforums.net/threads/flat-link-forstner-or-uncle-seiko.116056/page-3
there is issues in some countries with these bracelets.
I cant imagine why though. They are devoid of any trade marks and for an intents and purposes are of a generic nature so I cant see why shipping to the UK is an issue. Seems to be no issue in the Netherlands @ Shabbaz. I am quite happy to pay the import fees as I have done on previous occasions when buying from US based sellers. I will see what Larry comes back to me with on this. If not go then I will see if I have better luck with forstner but I prefer the idea of the hollow end links as per Uncle Seiko.

Just nipped over to Forstner and shipping to the UK is not an issue USPS first class at $15 or UPS Worldwide Expedited @ $39. I will hang on though until I have clarified this. I am just slightly sceptical as to how the solid end link will fit on the 105.003.

I managed to order mine, just now, with shipping to Thailand. There was some issue but apparently sorted now.
