Just nipped over to Forstner and shipping to the UK is not an issue USPS first class at $15 or UPS Worldwide Expedited @ $39. I will hang on though until I have clarified this. I am just slightly sceptical as to how the solid end link will fit on the 105.003.
The fit is hit or miss on the 105.003, and you'll want to measure the exact lug width before ordering either. I'm not sure if there were case inconsistencies with this reference, but sometimes it fits and sometimes it doesn't (for example, some lug widths are about 18.75mm instead of 19mm). If you're in the UK, you'd be best served ordering from our UK website, forstnerbands.co.uk.

Regarding the other thread referenced, I'm not sure how people got the idea there were problems shipping the bracelets overseas, but there are none. We ship bracelets worldwide.

Thank you for the clarification and points to check. Simon has my watch right now so I will email him and ask him to measure it for me.

Are you trying to order your bracelet from Uncle Seiko UK? The Euro site doesn't hold stock of the Omega relevant stuff, you need to order direct from the USA website. I would be careful ordering a Forstner for an Ed White for the reasons stated above. I'd stick to Uncle Seiko for vintage as the hollow end links offer more flexibility. Forstner may fit fine, but then again you may hit trouble. I mean no disrespect to Forstner who offer a very high quality product, but it's a fact that higher quality solid end links can be problematic on older watches as there can be variability in cases and bar holes.

Thank you for the kind offer. Larry has contacted me to say there have been issues with the site and I should try again and order later. I also agree with padders in terms of fitment. I will keep you posted.

They do defiantly ship from the US to the UK directly from the US website. Takes a while but worth it.

Just a note, both Forstner and Uncle Seiko sell separate end links in different sizes and finishes.

Yep. It fits fine, though a bit of end link manipulation may be required as every vintage watch is slightly different:

I have the same BA as yours. I hand the US 1171 put on it, the fit was also excellent, and feel.
But I returned to the original BA bracelet, it has a more convex/ rounded link, and thicker than a Pro bracelet, so I feel it did offer a different dimension and character over the pro. Hence hack on, but now looking at newest Speedy bracelet, or maybe the blue snoopy, for blued dial.
Anyways, great watch, congrats.
