Yeah, I remember. Am I the only one who thinks it won’t come close?

Nice avatar! I gather that you have an Ultraman? 😎

It looks like a $30,000 watch max in the current market. I can see it going ↘️↘️↘️ as more and more appear on the market, and the hype subsides.

Good estimate. Blurry photos aren’t doing it much of a favor.

It’s perfectly possible the ST2 is rarer lol
LOL possible, sure. Likelihood though? Seems pretty slim to me. With only ~60 known 145.012 Ultramans (Ultramen??) out there, I’m not sure. Not ruling it out though!

I was being a trifle facetious but the often quoted claim that there were 50 (usually from sellers!) has looked shakey for a while.

True. I see it quoted everywhere, almost with any Ultraman topic. We’ve already gone over the 50 threshold from someone’s findings here. Seems to be another thread around where it’s almost/gone above 60 examples. Can’t find the thread for the life of me though. 😵‍💫

60 examples is the new 50 examples. 👍
But even if that rises to 500 examples, the Ultraman would still be a limited watch.
Only bashed by those who don’t own one and glorified by those who do own one.

Only bashed by those who don’t own one and glorified by those who do own one...kind of exactly like the Emperor, the Emperors subjects, and the Emperor's bloody marvelous new clothes...

I think the seller of this watch has missed a trick, only selling to the USA, this watch cannot be found on eBay.co.uk or on eBay.com from the UK either.

eBay is the wrong venue for this watch, owner should have liquidated it through a proper auction house where exposure would have been much greater with a completely different set of buyers. Looking at the bid slate it didn't appear there were any real serious buyers involved, just some folks who hoped to snare it at a bargain price. I wonder what his reserve price was.

I've been watching this myself and agree ebay is the wrong place to sell.
I'm looking at selling mine but the commission charged by the auction houses is crazy. And you need two people to want what you have. I'd rather deal direct but the options to advertise seem to be limited.
