Hi everyone,

Just picked this up and will be restoring it. Had a few questions and hoping someone can provide some insight. This will be my first full restoration and looking forward to it. It ran for a few minutes but doesn’t run even after being fully wound up. I suspect it need a proper service and could potentially have a broken mainspring.

I’d like to replace the crystal as it’s lose and I suspect it isn’t original as I don’t see an Omega mark on it. I measured it to be 29.8mm. Could the current crystal be loose for another reason? Such as missing a ring, etc.? I can’t find too much on the D6672 that lists a crystal ring, seal, etc.

These did not have a tension ring crystal. Probably just a slightly under-size crystal on your watch. BTW, these use a low dome crystal, don't just go by size.
