·I’m reluctantly putting this one up for sale as I’m selling this to fund a recent purchase.
I bought this from a well-known forum member 2 years ago. It’s a lovely watch, lots of vintage charm, in an uncommon square case. These ultrathins or ‘Super flat’ watches were meant as dress watches, and you can read more about them in Desmond’s blog here. I’ve found that they work pretty well in a smart casual setting too with jeans.
The details:
-Ref 161.021, serial number indicates it’s from 1966
-Calibre 711 ‘Super-flat’. 3mm thick only. Not serviced while in my possession but keeping good time.
-Size: 28.5 mm square (excl crown), 36.5 mm lug tip to tip. Watch wears bigger than it measures as the bezel is quite slim. SS Case is nice and crisp and has kept its lines
-Thickness 8.5mm including crystal
-dial is original and is not a redial. Crown is signed.
-watch comes with a plain black leather strap that's almost new and which sets off the dial nicely.

I have not opened the watch while I owned it, but these were the pics from the previous owner showing the clean movement and case back.
In the name of forum karma, I’m selling it for the price I bought it for - USD550 OBO. Paypal is fine, I’m happy to split the fees.
I will ship from Singapore via EMS for free worldwide, other methods of shipping to be agreed upon with the buyer; buyer will pay for these other methods. Sales are final unless the watch is not as described.
This is my first sale on OF, but I’ve bought watches from several of the forumers here and elsewhere, and they will be happy to provide references. I may also want to ask for references too, I hope you don’t mind.
