For me personally, it's a watch that I thought was gorgeous in the pictures and was really underwhelmed when I tried it on in person. It's very light which is nice, the strap is very comfortable but the dial was, to me, uninteresting and to be honest the vintage style crystal was irritating on a modern watch. I have a vintage Constellation so I'm not opposed to the reflections on something of the period, but on a modern watch it bothered me and affected legibility from different angles.

So take the uninteresting dial, the fake vintage legibility and lack of date complication and it added up to something which looked and felt less than the regular Seamaster. Then you look at the tag and I felt like it was asking far too much. Poor value for money in my view. For anyone that plays guitar it's like a Les Paul special whereas the regular Seamaster is a Les Paul Standard. Nice, but not equal.

I think it's a lovely watch. Just too expensive for me.
I felt the same way. I've wanted this watch since it was first announced in Dec. 2019, but my head kept saying it's too expensive. Finally, I felt the time was right and just said screw it, I'm getting the watch. Couldn't be happier!!! 😁

I'm a big Bond fan, but never really wanted a SMP until this watch came along. Game changer for me.

I’m a big Bond fan too and have a couple of the Bond Omegas. Possibly I will get a pre-owned one of these down the line…

Congrats!

I have one on a Nato and think it's easily the most comfortable watch I own. Looks and feels entirely different from the rest of the Seamaster lineup, IMO.
