Hello. Can anyone recommend a good U.K. based Omega service guy/company? Omega themselves are quite pricey! Thanks a lot.

Just sent my Speedy 67 to watchguy.co.uk - seems to know his stuff and mid priced against others. Fingers crossed...

Hello @Omega18 and welcome to the forum.

    There are various recommended watchmakers in the UK , most suggest searching but I've collated a few although not yet worked with personally, these are;
    Chris Nicolas @ www.cjnwatch.co.uk
    Simon Freese @ www.simonfreesewatchmakers.com
    Swiss Time Services @ www.swisstimeservices.co.uk
    Christian @ www.watchguy.co.uk
The Watch Service Centre Ltd @ www.thewatchservicecentre.co.uk

Other OF members may be able to recommend these based on their previous work or provide additional recommendations.

I think you will find that having the job done properly and how you want will not be cheap. What model do you want servicing? Pictures?

    +1 Simon Freese @ www.simonfreesewatchmakers.com

Also found Simons work to be excellent.
He gives his advise and options on what he thinks would be best and then attentively listens to what you want doing.
Some examples of work he has done for me.
    Movement services - Speedmaster 321, 861, 1863, Flightmaster 910, Seamaster 1040, Speedmaster 1045
Case refurbishments / refinishing to original standard - Flightmaster, Speedmaster Mk2, Speedmaster mk 4.5
Dial and hand swaps - Mitsukoshi build
Flatlink bracelet rebuilds - 1035/1039 rebrush polish, new springs

While we are on the subject.

Has anyone used WatchWorks in Bristol? I’ve heard great things from the Rolex world, but not heard anything regarding Omegas.

Seconding onto this question, I’ve just recently moved to Bristol and I would love to have a place to get my speedmaster serviced should the need arise

I used them way back in 2015 to service and fix my casing of my Omega Mk4.5 Speedmaster. They laser welded some large dings and rebrushed it. Was extremely happy with work carried out and at a reasonable price for work done.

I used https://www.bondstreetwatchservicing.co.uk/ Richard is based outside Luton and was at Patek for 12 years or so I think. Is Level 3 accredited for swatch (inc Omega obvs.), does TAG, Rolex, Franck Muller, Parmigiani with full parts accounts. Really nice guy.

He pressure tested my Sub and Speedy while I was there on his dry tester too for me.
