I did a search on Forum on (Typhoon Odette) and found nothing on it. Began to think I may be the only Member caught up in it. Devastating event with flood waters waist high for 24 hours and no internet or power for just over 2 weeks. I fared very well as my Homes here are extremely solid concreate but for miles around were homes and Peoples swept away with giant mounds of debris that still can be seen around as of this post. My Neighbor died in it. This was the worst event weather wise to ever hit our Island and the sheer powers of Mother Nature reared it's head like I have never seen before. Glad to be back and Life is good (if not great) Thought I would post about it as we face another Typhoon in 2 days. FYI- It is not me in the following video.

visited the island in 1991 with a boat departing from Moalboal {Cebu).
remember wonderful beaches with good diving and nice people.
hope everything is fine and I wish I had the opportunity to visit the island again.
