I am not very knowledgeable either, but when blowing up the photo, I can see the hand extending past the marker, which I believe is correct.

Ah yeah I think you’re right. Nevermind

I think the americans need to wake up... Maybe the cynic 50 number killed the thread... thanks to @ConElPueblo. Not my fault...😁

The one on the left is quite valuable, most people hate them on here because they will never own one 😁😁😁

Recommendations to OP:
1. Put on the kettle, make a large cup of your favourite beverage
2. Click on the magnifying glass icon at the top of the page
3. Enter the word ‘Ultraman’
4. Take time to read as much as you can, pausing to examine links to relevant auctions
5. Prepare this face 😲
6. Then this one 😁

Only number 6, if he decides to sell.

If you decide to sell either one, just sell as is. like others have said, don’t take them to Omega
for repair/servicing.

Selling the one on the left will be complicated.

Why?
Get the serial number, If it is 2607xxx, brilliant. Get an archive or certificate, leave as is, people love them like that. Send to auction or eBay.
There will be many buyers.
Where are the complications?

you just articulated them. That’s all I meant. For a non-watch person, getting the extract, determining authenticity, navigating the auction process ... that’s all complicated. Just putting it on eBay as is wouldn’t be complicated, but it might not be wise either.

He managed to take the photos and post them on here, I am sure he will be able to do the rest. 👍

Brother, it would be relatively easy to make a $20,000 mistake about now but it's your watches.

Let's step back from the feeding frenzy.

What are your intentions? Keep one, keep both, or neither?
Do you want to wear it/them?

Are you financially able to invest thousands and justify to yourself/family having the price of a nice car on your wrist?

I implore you to go slow, ignore your mailbox and seek advice from senior collectors before doing a damn thing.

You have been given good advice, patience will be rewarded regardless of your intentions.

The man might’ve been grumpy, but he handed you some sweet sweet watches!
