two speed masters passed down from grumpy father

I've been fortunate enough to have two speed masters passed down to me from my father.

He said the one on the left was purchased in June 1969 during his Air Force pilot training. It was over wound and doesn't work.

The one on the right runs but has never been serviced.

Questions are

What models are these?

Who can fix them?

What are the approximate values?

How can I learn more about them?

Thanks in advance,

The one on the left could be an original Ultraman 馃槻

Speedmaster101 has good info about this model.

Whatever you do, don't send it to Omega for service!

It is probably a good idea to try to get an extract for this possible Ultraman watch too.

Maybe you should change the title to: "two speedmasters passed down from father".

I am by no means an expert, but the one on the right looks like a Speedmaster from the 90's, could be worth about $3.5-4.5k, where the one on the left could be worth much more.

I will let the experts chime in 馃榾

The right one seems to be never opened.. It's an original wax seal?

Hey Mr Phil,

Sorry about grumpy pa. Why don't you send us a close up of the watch on the left with the red hand. It'll really help with any further assessment.

Thank you for offering to further assess the watch. Unfortunately I put the watches in my safe deposit box and it will be awhile before I can get a better picture.

You may consider visiting your safety deposit box sooner once the offers start rolling into your inbox. 馃榿

Not to mention, if the OP wants more answers, just about everything necessary is inside those watches.

I am not very knowledgeable either, but when blowing up the photo, I can see the hand extending past the marker, which I believe is correct.
