Is that where you bought your SMP? Just wondering if there was a loyalty discount involved.
I'll just plan on paying about three bills. That's a $125 dollar premium over the Zealande. I agree that on a 4k watch, it's a no brainer. If the OEM was $500 and the Zealande was closer to a $100, then perhaps...but I'm going OEM.

·Question for guys with wrist sizes around 7.5 inches that have the Omega strap. Should I be ordering the standard length or the longer one?

·My Wrists are about 7.3 inch and I have the standard size rubber. I wear it in with either 3 or 4 holes spare (jot including the triangular hole)

·I’ve been considering the rubber strap for a while now. Glad supply has improved. Can anyone confirm if it is a pain to swap them on? I heard that it is very precise and can be tricky.

if you have experience of removing spring bars on other less expensive watches this will seem very simple.
Taking the bracelet off is straight forward, not just as easy to get back on, but the rubber strap goes on very easily without any problems.
if you want I can share images of the best way to position it etc

·I do not know the answer to your first question but I would highly recommend Zulu diver straps especially the one with the clasp. Extremely high quality, better than some OEM straps from luxury brands. I think you can still buy them from watchgecko

·I am going to an OB tomorrow to checkout some of the nato straps for my blue. I am also thinking about the white dial on black rubber so I will give that one a try.

·Someone mentioned it above but I wanted to confirm that I too was quoted $250 for the rubber and $50 for the buckle. $300 total and it indeed feels extremely supple and high quality.

·Prefect post for this I think. I bought a strap from a well know second hand dealer in the UK a few weeks ago and looking at it more and more I’m not convinced it’s genuine. Shouldn’t the part number been stamped into the down side. I had a very old Planet Ocean 2500 strap years ago and the number was inside from memory.
Opinions please if you’d be so kind.

I’ve emailed them already to request a return and posted photos of an original against the one they sold.
When I looked at it after opening the package I was suspicious and should have acted then but put it down and carried on with life for the week before coming back to it this weekend.

Mine was ordered from the OB and has quite different construction, keepers and markings as shown below (soz for crappy pix):

·Pictures are fine, thanks for contributing I had my suspicions but embarrassingly offered it for sale to a member in another thread. It was when I uploaded the photos I actually realised something was wrong. I’m embarrassed, I didn’t check initially and then for offering it for sale.
