·Thanks. Yes the S does look a bit ‘wide’/square and I had wondered about the spacing between Swiss and Made. I just don’t know how much variation there was in dials in the late 70s/early 80s. The Automatic position seems to move around even in Omega’s photos.

·The Swiss Made doesn't bother me much but the S should be symmetrical top and bottom, and it's not.
That said, it's very good if it is refinished and if it's cheap and you like it, go for it.

·That’s more of a Genta inspired cushion shape with a round dial, these are known as TV dials. Not very fashionable so hard to map out the genuine and non-genuine variants.
