    Hi,
Can anyone tell if the hands on this Tudor Sub are original tritium or replacement? They look a little too perfect for me which gives me some concerns. It would be a significant investment on my part but I cannot get any better pics.
Thanks in advance for your comments and input

By no means an expert on Tudor, but what I usually do in these cases is go to a reputable seller's website with hi-res images and compare. Hodinkee has a couple 79090s in their archive, and their pictures show a lot of detail. Consider these two examples (1 and 2) of blue 79090 subs: there's similar shine to the hands as in your picture. The lume plots look similar to the 1990 Hodinkee 79090 Sub, too.

At first sight those hands looked a little off to me as well. Now it seems there's more 79090 subs out there with a similarly good looking hand set. Can you trust the seller? Good references/ratings and such? And is it listed at a reasonable price, or too good to be true?

Them hands , dial ,lume plots & everything else looks pretty good to me . There’s something about 79090 Tudor lume that seems to resist patina even after 30 years . 718A0958-DC6F-4C6E-8FCB-C3244EDB2439.jpeg
