I found this serial number database when I was researching my Tudor acquisition (surely you already know the SN is between the lugs):
http://sweepinghand.co.uk/useful-info/tudor-serial-numbers/

This link says the reference 79190 appeared in 1995:

That is a nice looking watch. I don't know much about the completeness or correctness but it does look nice.

It all depends on the price for a head-only example. These are nice "transitional" Sub, akin to the matte dial 16800 which preceded it by 15 years, rather retro already for the mid-90s. I wouldn't spends more than the low 2000s for one though.

Head looks good to me... Retro style with the plastic crystal and a good daily wearer. All down to asking price, how much you want to buy it and how much you are willing to pay really. Good luck!

No, it has a sapphire crystal. The 79090 has the acrylic.

79190 has sapphire crystal. The crown should be Tudor - not Rolex. Could be the parts bin effect though. Movement should be ETA 2824-2.

Looks legit, but I've seen a lot of fake Tudor Subs. If I were buying, I'd check to see if the serial maps to 1995 or later - or close to that date. Also check to see if the movement is correct. Proceed with caution?

Dial printing looks ok to me. I have the 79090 with acrylic crystal...I would check date magnification vs other 79190 pics...also double check font on the bezel insert, looks a little strange to me, but I have never owned this ref number and could be aftermarket. Def check serial and movement per other posters recs..
