Hi there,

received those pics ... I am not a Tudor specialist, but going from google comparison pics for 34mm Tudor Ranger Date I find some odd things (hour hand for example).

Fake – and I don't even focus on Tudor.

The vast majority of so-called Rangers are fake. There are many older threads on various forums around the world that will help you to make distinctions yourself. It will require some time and effort, however.

OK. from what I can ascertain:

- Dial is redone or fake (shield is too deeply scallopped - compare with @mappleluna 's )
- the stubby hands belong to a Ranger 90220 or 90020 (1987-1988), which does not come with a date

Fake Ranger, fonts are wrong, hands are wrong. As real rangers share case / movement with regular Tudors they are often faked...

Gone but not forgotten, sniff.

I believe the dial on the vintage ranger used in the time tide article is a fake or reprint as well-notice the space between oyster date--there should be no space and final R in TUDOR is incorrect

Just to be clear - the VINTAGE RANGER in that link is fake - that is not even close to the correct fonts.

We have an original Ranger date on it's Mexican jubilee. Now if only I could find the pictures. Can't snap new ones as of now since it's still in storage in the Philippines. Let me look in our desk top as soon as our kid is done playing minecraft with her classmates...

Hi Fred here and we ain't selling it but I believe pictures of our watch can be seen in the vintage Rolex archives which is a registry for unusual models. That registry can be found on Eric Ku's Vintage Rolex Forum. 👍

Unfortunately a lot of the VRF dial archive was broken after the switch to Tapatalk
