·Up for grabs is a real life Tudor Ranger! … and one of the earliest references. As most of you know, Rangers are one of the most faked vintage watches out there. I’ve had the privilege to learn about and collect Rangers over the years and I’m happy to offer this example from 1966 for sale at a great price. This could be a really great daily driver as it flies under the radar (and just as well under a shirt cuff).
I’m asking $7250 shipped in the US for this watch, which is not much above my cost from 5 or 6 years ago
Movement: automatic caliber ETA 2483 running great - have not serviced the watch while it’s been in my possession
Case: 34mm stainless steel oyster case with very thick and even lugs. This one avoided the wheel and has light scratching and signs of a good life throughout.
Dial: original rose dial with tritium plots. A subtle and light sheen on the matte dial around the edges of the luminous indices.
Hands: original and correct ranger hands. Hour hand has a slight crack that is stable.
Bracelet: shipping on a 7835/357 with fair amount of stretch. Not original to the watch, but wanted to include one with the sale.
