Hello Folks,

I recently acquired this lovely little project watch, some small pieces to do but movement is sweet and well serviced!

Im struggling to identify the age of this watch. My estimations are 1957 based on the Info available.

Im aware these watches were used on the Greenland Expedition from 53 - 56. But would love to hear any thoughts or additional knowledge you could pass down to me!

This is my first Tudor and i would love to learn more about this piece and this fantastic brand if you can share any reliable sources.

Kind Regards,

Johnny

I presume you have dated this watch from the serial number, and the logo design?

not sure what else we can tell you

is it missing a bezel, by the way?

the logo design on your watch started around 1947 apparently, from a few sources - including the Tudor www site

this was the earlier version that ran up to 1946/7 - the rose inside a shield logo - my 34 mm screw down crown Tudor
