Hi folks. I'd like to get your help identifying when the case of my watch was manufactured. The 30T2 movement serial number is from 1946 but the stainless steel case reminds me of the shape and make of the 1956 recasings of 6B 159 30 T2 SC watches. The case is 35mm. It is marked 2384-7 in the case back. The case back exterior has notches to make it easy to remove. Is the case correct for the 1940s or is it more likely from the 1950s?
IMO the case is correct for the period and the movement. The Omega site shot shows a 2384 case c.1943 with 30T2 identified as the correct movement. The dial looks refinished.
