trying to put a value on pair of 506 end links

As the title says I put a wanted for an 6 end link, So a fellow member has one link and but needs a pair of 506 end links, but does not want to sell outright as I would rather do that, but I would happy to do a deal of some kind. So I am trying to establish what would a pair go for ? from what I read 506 are not much less in value to 6 end links ?? there is a set of ebay in USA for £2300 from a chap probably a member on here seems a little excessive. Any help would be appreciated I just want a deal that works for us both.

Yes, that's "a little excessive," but this seller is known for asking absurdly high prices. Possibly more realistic is this OF listing for a 1035 + 506 at around $2,000---withdrawn a week ago:

Wow just saw a pair on ebay listed for 3000usd damn. Around 3 years ago i got 2 pairs for around 300-400usd didnt think the price increases too much

I just sold a single 506 for around 500 Euro. It was NOS, so I’d put a good condition used pair at around 800-1000 Euro. I think an original 6 is worth at least double that, and there is probably variation between single slotted, double slotted, etc. so you’d be looking at the 506 pair plus somewhere around 1000 Euro.
