I am trying to identify what appears to be an Omega DeVille 14k watch. I've taken pictures of the dial, case, inside case, and movement. The case has 2 numbers inside the back, 8642 and 5910106, but have not found any information that matches those numbers and the case style/shape. If anyone here can provide some help with identifying this watch I would appreciate it. I'm trying to determine if it is authentic, and information on when it was manufactured. I've attached my pictures. Thanks for any help you can provide! Dave
Yes, it's genuine. Assuming the number on the battery clamp is the serial number, this dates the watch to ca 1980, which matches the style.
There is no model number as this is a locally made gold case hence no Swiss made on the case. not abnormal.
The case reference (591.0106) indicates: 5 = Ladies Watch 9 = Electronic 1 = Non-water-resistant 0106 = Sequential model number The movement is a caliber 1352, introduced in 1978 and was the first quartz baguette caliber in the world. As others have said, completely genuine and probably a bit rare.
How did I not see that number. @JimInOz i apparently need glasses now. I am self awarding a Palm de Face award to myself.
