hi guys

agreed let鈥檚 get back to watches .

@gatorcpa is correct one set of rules .....

You have to personally own the watch to sell it. No sales on behalf of friends etc.

Comes back to a single point of accountability.

good hunting

Well, I got this one sold to a fellow Canadian collector. Carol, the owner, is happy with her money and the new owner is happy to get this watch for the price he did.

Thank you everyone here who helped me out with advice and opinions.

As for STANDY,

My two favorite scenes were Sylvester and Barry Chase in their dance routine, and the airplane fiasco in the twin Beech.

Can you elaborate on why you think I abused this freedom you feel is unexplained? How exactly did I abuse this imaginary freedom?

Edited to add: Seems to be a lot of sour grapes here and I don't understand why.

I don't have to explain myself to you. Pull your head in.

Listen sunshine, you're entitled to your opinion but until you're a moderator your opinion only matters to one person.

I read the forum rules and when I don't understand them I contact the moderators for clarification.

Before posting a watch lot in the Private Sales forum I contacted a mod to ask permission and clarification on the rules about posting watch lots. I followed up with a question about posting pics in that listing. That moderator was helpful and because of his help I was able to post a listing that followed forum rules.

STANDY decided to play hall monitor and stick his nose in and because of his insistence on moderating when he is not a mod my listing was removed. The moderator I contacted had to run interference and put the listing back up.

I've received PMs from other OF members who have been hassled by that guy, who frankly has far too much time on his hands, so this is nothing new for him. You want to hitch your wagon to his star by all means do so, but don't expect others to sit back and give two shits about your opinion, Moahunter.

I have no idea why this thread was ok with the mods, I have no idea why my sales listing was ok with the mods, but I'm damned thankful to them for giving me the opportunity to help someone who has helped me in the past. Everyone involved in this is happy and it's because the people who handle these forums let things proceed as they did.

I was recently sorting through some estate items I purchased a while back and came across a box of these dials. Most in mint condition. This thread is one of the top results when researching info about them. I thought I would share some pictures for your enjoyment.
