路I noticed the faulty design in the butterfly clasp too - the links did flop around when closing it. I'll try it on the bracelet for a while, but as with most other watches I doubt it will be long before a strap is installed.

Will do. 馃憤 I didn't like the fit of the first AT's bracelet because of the half link and no micro adjustment, so I hope this one is better.
Make sure you get a really nice one for this baby馃憤
That's a given. Might go custom H-R, might go Kelaran - they're my two favorite options now.

路Yeah I think the clasp design is one of its weakness. Difficult to open the half part and easily tangled. I wonder why they didn't just use true tested design of Seamasters, Constellation and Speedmaster bracelet clasps.
Thanks I'm glad it's not just me. I suppose one could get used to it or pop it on a nice leather strap.

Looks like "On the wrist" will be more accurate! Gonna try to shoot over to the AD to grab it next Tuesday. I'm already wasting time at work on the internet shopping for straps. 馃槣

Oh, and there was that trip to the Apple store as insurance.....

She wants a new iPad so I gave her a fistful of money to spend. Don't even know which one she wanted (and frankly don't care either 馃槜 ), but she sold her 8 or 9 month old one to a friend and added my money towards a new one. New toys all around!

I just got the new Mini, very impressed so far. I'm using it for school. Through a couple of watch-related apps and wallpapers on it, too. For educational reasons, naturally.馃槈

You do it backwards of how you would think. Instead of putting the inside portion of the butterfly up to your wrist and swinging the bracelet end to the clasp, you bring the butterfly portion down to the hanging end of the bracelet. Even I don't mind it and I hate bracelets.
Does anyone know the case thickness?
Measured it yesterday. 38.5 mm wide without crown x 44.5 mm lug tip to lug tip x 13 mm thick including the crystal.
