Trip to the OB today

the Basel roadshow finally made it my way and thought I'd check it out. They didn't have the CK2998 or GSOTM meteorite. But they did have have the new PO deep black. And I'll admit, I like it in person. A lot more than I thought I would. Will probably wait for the price to drop with the AD. Not much else to report, other than the usual time pieces out there. I inquired about the GSOTM deployant and still not available to order. But they did let me buy one from the GSOTM they had in stock. So, on with the pictures, and as always, sorry for the crappy iPhone pictures.

Pictures are of the deep black, and one next the my GSOTM. Then took pictures of the GSOTM deployant and compared it with the titanium. I bit the bullet on the ceramic clasp as I didn't feel complete without it.

I am really wanting to check out the new ceramic POs in person. Hate that there are no OBs (or ADs) near me but I know my wife is very grateful.

I really like the Deep Black, wears about the same as the GSOTM. What I like is that it's lighter than stainless, but not so light like titanium that it feels fake. but it is ceramic, and after my chip, i'm trying to be extra carful when wearing my GSOTM.

thanks for the side by side with GSOTM. Really shows that regardless of the actual dimensions, the watch wears well and do not look oversized. I always found GSOTM to wear smaller than its size, and looks about the same on your wrist.

After 1 year of daily wear with DSOM in tang and buckle and 2-3 near drops, I agree that it feels so much safer on deployant. And the ceramic matches perfectly. It's just beautiful and super comfortable.
